Lucy is a former Manhattan Assistant District Attorney who handles high-stakes litigation and investigations.
Before coming to Aurelian, Lucy gained trial and investigations experience as a prosecutor in the storied Office of the New York County District Attorney. She handled hundreds of cases. Lucy obtained and supervised search warrants, presented cases to grand juries, and conducted hearings and trials. Among her wide-ranging work, Lucy has first-chair jury trial experience.
Lucy has also shaped the law from the legislative branch. After graduating from Cornell University, Lucy served as a policy fellow at the New York Department of Agriculture and Markets. She then worked as a policy director for the New York State Senate. There, Lucy gained hands-on experience drafting legislation.
Lucy will serve in the judicial branch next. In 2027, Lucy will leave Aurelian to serve as a law clerk for the Honorable Richard C. Wesley, U.S. Circuit Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Following that, Lucy will serve as a law clerk for the Honorable Lawrence J. Vilardo, U.S. District Judge for the Western District of New York.
Aurelian marks the beginning of a Western New York homecoming for Lucy. Her family runs a seventh-generation dairy farm in Livingston County, New York, which is renowned for recycling food waste to power the farm and community homes. She is an avid Bills fan.
